Geotextile laying basic and process requirements


Basic requirements for geotextile laying:

1. The joint shall intersect the slope line; where the slope is balanced or there may be stress, the horizontal joint shall be greater than 1.5 m.

2. On the slope surface, anchor one end of the geotextile, and then lay down the slope of the coil to ensure that the geotextile is kept tight.

3. All geotextiles must be pressed with sand bags, which will be used during laying and retained to the top layer of material.

Geotextile laying process requirements:

1. Grassroots inspection: Check whether the base layer is flat and solid. If there is any foreign matter, it should be handled properly.

2, trial shop: According to the site conditions, determine the size of the geotextile, cut and test, the cutting size should be accurate.

3. Check if the width of the sprinkler is suitable, the joint should be flat and the tightness should be moderate.

4. Positioning: The overlapping parts of the two geotextiles are bonded by a hot air gun, and the spacing of the bonding points should be appropriate.

5. When suturing the lap joint, the suture should be straight and the stitches should be even.

6. After the sewing, check whether the geotextile is laid flat and whether there are defects.

7. If there is any unqualified phenomenon, it should be repaired in time.
